Belfort AI is a voice-powered marketplace assistant built during the YC Gemini x Pipecat Hackathon. The product goal was simple: make selling online feel conversational and effortless from start to finish.
Sellers can speak naturally with an AI agent, show products over camera, and have listings generated automatically. Buyers can call in, negotiate offers through voice, and complete a smooth marketplace flow without back-and-forth messaging friction.
The system combines Gemini Live for multimodal understanding, Pipecat for real-time voice and video orchestration, and a custom marketplace backend to complete the full end-to-end loop from listing creation to buyer negotiation.
